CBD oils are now on everyone’s lips. Although its effect has not yet been conclusively confirmed, many users already report a relaxing and stress-relieving feeling after taking it
orally.
Since products from the cannabis plant are processed in CBD oils, there is still some scepticism or uncertainty about the product. In this article, we would like to show you whether and where these oils are legal, when you can (and should) carry CBD oil with you and what benefits it has.
Why should you take CBD oil with you on the go?
Although it has not been conclusively confirmed, CBD is already known to many consumers for its anxiolytic and calming effects. And CBD oil can also have a positive impact on the go.
In particular, people who suffer from depression or anxiety disorders report a positive antidepressant effect after taking it. In exam situations or on particularly stressful working days, the contained CBD can contribute to relaxation, reduce nervousness and increase focus on current tasks.
However, it would help if you did not overdo it; Beginners, in particular, are often unable to assess the effects of CBD and should therefore start at home with a small dose or a low CBD content. The low content of CBD oil is 5 per cent. Also, be aware that high dosages can make you tired, especially if you are travelling by car, you should keep this in mind.
Otherwise, you do not need to worry when using CBD oils in Germany, as long as they have a THC content of less than 0.2%. From this amount, an intoxicating effect is excluded from taking the CBD oil out and taking it legally on the go, in the car, at university or work without hesitation.
Travelling with CBD Oil: Legal or Not?
Unfortunately, the laws around carrying and ingesting CBD are not uniform worldwide. Therefore, it would help to familiarize yourself with the currently applicable regulations in your destination country before travelling abroad. At the moment, you can safely take CBD oils with a THC content below 0.2% to other EU countries.
Similar rules apply to America and Canada. However, since the applicable laws on THC and CBD products are constantly changing, a prior check is advisable. We recommend that you only buy CBD oil locally after entering the country. In this way, you can save yourself time-consuming and possibly unpleasant questions at the airport.
CBD oils for easy & quick use when travelling
Since CBD oils are usually offered in small bottles, you can take them with you on the go and in your hand luggage. Please note, however, that this is a liquid that should be stowed away leak-proof when travelling by plane and must not exceed 100 ml.
Although these bottles can also be used on the go without any problems, there is an alternative that is easier to use and has another convincing side effect. We’re talking about CBD oils for spraying.
The similarity to the mouth spray is evident in its use and the effect. Since the CBD sprays come into contact with the oral mucosa over a large area, they ensure faster development and promote oral hygiene thanks to the antibacterial ingredients.
Using CBD Oil on the go: what dosage?
If you are trying CBD oil for the first time or want to use it on the go, we recommend starting with a relatively low dosage. Depending on the CBD content of the oil, you can take 1 to 2 drops three times a day. If the desired effect has not occurred after a week, you can slowly increase the dosage by another bubble.
For CBD sprays, we recommend starting with one pump a day. Although the effect should begin relatively quickly, we recommend increasing the dose only weekly or at the earliest after three days of intake. This way, your body can slowly get used to taking it.
When does CBD oil work after ingestion?
Since CBD oil comes into direct contact with the oral mucosa, the effect can be expected after a maximum of 1 to 2 hours. From this point on, the half-life is around 60 hours, which means that the impact and amount of CBD in your body has only decreased by half after more than two days.
Pay attention to CBD oil dosage, mainly because of the long half-life. In some cases, the total effect only occurs after a week. If this is not the case, you can slightly increase the dose.
Who can I share my CBD oil?
First of all, CBD oil is harmless if you pay attention to the dosage. If you choose to share your oil, keep in mind that your tolerance may be higher than your counterpart. Therefore, always start with a low dose and a CBD content of 5%. Also, you should not give your CBD oil to pregnant, breastfeeding or children, while sick people should consult their doctor before taking it.
